4tracks4kids – A Walk 4 Nathan
The Triple Crown team are again this year honoured to be raising funds for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network by participating in the 4tracks4kids A Walk 4 Nathan.
This year 4tracks4kids are honouring Nathan Berry, an outstanding jockey and gentleman taken far too young earlier this year. Nathan was also a 4tracks4kids ambassador who was very passionate and dedicated to the cause.
As such, this year’s donations will be supporting the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, which incorporates both Westmead Children’s Hospital and the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick, as well as the National Jockeys Trust and Epilepsy Action Australia.
The event held on Monday, 6 October 2014 will see Mike, Chris and Jess join a host of racing industry personalities, as well as sporting icons and celebrities, in a walk from Warwick Farm to the Sydney Children’s Hospitalvia every Sydney racetrack.
While we will be lacing our runners and rising before the sun for this very worthwhile cause, being involved doesn’t have to mean walking the 40 odd kilometres and can be as easy as making a tax deductible donation.
By donating as little as $2 you will be helping to develop medicines and cures for kid’s diseases, training medical personnel and purchasing important medical equipment.
We are hoping to raise $2,500 for the cause and would love your support. Please click here to make a secure online donation. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a DGR receipt via email as soon as you make a donation.
Thanks so much for your support!
