Denpurr Primed For Black Type Bid

Peter and Paul Snowden have no qualms sending Triple Crown Syndications’ last-start midweek winner Denpurr (Denman ex Pampurr) straight to stakes grade for her next race day assignment.

Denpurr impressed with a strong first-up win at Warwick Farm on September 9 and will take her place in the field for the Listed Reginald Allen Quality (1400m) at Rosehill on Saturday.

The Denman filly will carry 54kg with last season’s premiership winning apprentice Winona Costin on board second up.

She has done well since her last start win and although she’s drawn a touch awkwardly in barrier 8 of 11, the Snowdens believe she’s in with a good chance against stable mate Fast Candy.

“This is a bit of a rise in class for both fillies,’’ Snowden said. “But Denpurr’s win, albeit by a small margin, was very good as she had to overcome a fair bit of difficulty.

“They are both nice fillies with plenty of upside and this race gives them a chance to earn some black type.’’

Also representing the Triple Crown team this weekend is Brazen Moss who steps out over 1500m at Kembla Grange.

Best of luck to all connections!
