Involving Delivers Her First Win

We’re pleased to report that Involving broke through for her maiden win in the opening event at Kembla Grange on Saturday after starting race favourite in the Christmas Racing at Kembla Maiden Plate over 1000m.

We’re not surprised at Involving’s favouritism given her preparation in the lead up to this race where, in metropolitan grade and company, she had run second behind smart Godolphin charge Ghisoni (who won her next start in Saturday grade) and third (by a head!) behind two time Group race contestant Meteora Miss.

Trainers Peter & Paul Snowden opted for a change of tactics with Involving by dropping her back in distance and class in order to try and get her to settle a bit better, something she hasn’t been doing so well, and get a confidence boosting win on the board.

Mitchell Bell had the three-year-old daughter of Sebring perfectly poised to sit midfield just off the pace before peeling out wide to draw away for a gutsy neck victory ahead of King Darci.

Involving kicked off a race card treble for team Snowden on Saturday with Not a Gypsy and Fantasize winning their respective races later in the day.

Congratulations to all owners! Following a freshen-up spell we are looking forward to having Involving return to racing, in metropolitan grade, as a winner.
