Magic Millions: Stunning Hallowed Crown colt secured on Day 1

THE Magic Millions sales ring was at its most vibrant best on the first day of the Gold Coast Yearling Sale on Wednesday, where Triple Crown Syndications were delighted to secure a wonderful colt by dual Group 1 winner Hallowed Crown.

The hammer fell for $120,000, which we believe to be outstanding value for a colt with such eyecatching movements – and the same price for which we purchased The Everest winner and $8 Million earner Redzel from the exact same sales ring in 2014.

Triple Crown director Chris Ward was thrilled to get his hands on a principal target from the first day.

“He’s a beautifully bred colt,” said Ward. “He’s a big strong colt with a bit of extra length; very balanced and a beautiful mover.

“He looks like a real miler and certainly a fantastic Guineas type for the future.”

An unbeaten juvenile and Randwick Guineas winner himself, the first crop of Hallowed Crown has caught the attention of several buyers during yearling inspections, and it’s not hard to see why through this colt by the Darley Stallion.

The family of dam Miss Lombardi continues to produce top quality racehorses, most recently with exciting three-year-old Group 3 winner, Levendi.

Miss Lombardi herself is a half-sister to Stakes winners, with Group 1 winner Tully Thunder, and Listed winner Sufficient featuring prominently on the pedigree page, along with Group 1 runner up Fleur De’here.

This is a colt not to be missed out on! Look out for details of how to secure your share soon!
