Alex Wiltshire

Communications Manager

In January 2017 Alex swapped the UK for Australia to join us as our Communications Manager. Although not from a racing family, Alex developed an interest in racing during his teenage years, and particularly within the popular jumps racing sphere in the UK.

A career in racing was not immediately forthcoming, as Alex graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in International Relations, before earning his Masters degree in European Politics from the University of Bath in 2015.

Having raced several horses both on the Flat and over jumps, a career in racing was too alluring to ignore and, after spending time doing casual work for jumps trainer Alexandra Dunn in Taunton, UK, he began his career in racing as a journalist for the UK’s leading horse racing daily newspaper, the Racing Post.

After six months with the Racing Post, where he interviewed leading jockeys and trainers including Frankie Dettori and Sir Mark Prescott, Alex was delighted to take the opportunity to further his racing experience in Australia with Triple Crown.

Alex is responsible for all our media and social media output, as well as producing our weekly and monthly updates, and being an additional contact for owners.
