Chelsea Reigns supreme on comeback run
CHELSEA REIGN returned to competitive action with a bang when cruising to a comfortable success at Warwick on Monday.
The daughter of Rubick was expected to improve plenty for her first outing since January, but she simply had too much class for her rivals and ran out a more authoritative winner than what the winning margin of 0.8L suggests.

Chelsea Reign was given a peach of a ride by Georgina Cartwright, who was happy to let the early speed go before timing her challenge to perfection aboard the five-year-old mare.
Credit must go to all the team at Tony Gollan Racing, producing a terrific training performance to have Chelsea Reign in winning form on her first start back from injury.
“It was a good effort by this mare to resume first-up and win,” Gollan said.
“She just threw her head a bit early, but Georgina worked with her nicely, presented at the right time on the right part of the track and she really won quite easily.
“She’ll definitely improve from that run. She’s a big girl so her fitness will come on a touch.”
Chelsea Reign will now head to Ipswich on Friday 20th August, where we hope she can continue on her winning way.
Congratulations to her strapper and all her owners on what was an impressive first-up win!
