A dual Group I winning juvenile by the legendary Redoute’s Choice, King’s Legacy is on the board with his first winner after flying filly Kujenga upstaged the colts to score a brilliant debut victory at the metro meeting at Wyong on Saturday.
Trained by Annabel Neasham and Rob Archibald, Kujenga had two recent trials under her belt to have her ready for 1200m first up and she rose to the challenge jumping swiftly from an outside gate to cross and lead.
She travelled smoothly on the fence for Harry Davies and gave a great kick turning for home that allowed her to get a break on her rivals with Hellbent colt Damien closing late to be beaten a long neck….
