Impressive winners for Brazen Beau and Flying Artie!
It was a great weekend for the sires of two of our recent purchases from the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, with both Brazen Beau and Flying Artie registering impressive two-year-old winners on either side of the Tasman.
Dual Group 1 hero BRAZEN BEAU, the best-performed son of leading sire I Am Invincible, looks to have another top two-year-old on his hands in the shape of ON THE BUBBLES, who took his unbeaten record to three with a commanding victory in the Listed Karaka Million.

On The Bubbles’ victory in Saturday’s lucrative contest brought up stakes winner number 10 for Brazen Beau, who also has dual representation in Tuesday’s Blue Diamond Prelude for colts and geldings, including the current race favourite General Beau.
All of this bodes well for the prospects of our Brazen Beau colt out of Lost Without You, who was purchased by Chris & Michael Ward at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale earlier this month. He simply floats over the ground and looks a strong, early-running type just like his sire.
Flying Artie chalks up fourth winner
Exciting first-season sire FLYING ARTIE was provided with his fourth first-crop winner at Sandown on Saturday, courtesy of the hugely impressive Artorius.
The two-year-old colt powered to a four and half length success on just his second career start, having sat three-wide with no cover for a large part of the 1300m contest.

Connections are now mulling over a tilt at the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes, a race in which Flying Artie himself was an unlucky runner-up having copped severe interference around the home turn.
Artorius’ win ensured that Flying Artie retained his position as leading first-season sire by winners after the weekend’s action came to a close.
Our two purchases by Flying Artie at last year’s sales have been subject to promising reports from Peter & Paul Snowden, so we are excited to take the wraps off the Flying Artie colt bought by Chris and Michael Ward at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale earlier this month.
He is the first foal of a multiple stakes-placed mare and descends from a tremendous black-type family, so he is sure to prove popular at an affordable price!
