The King returns in preparation for Spring

Promising Northern Meteor colt Courtza King (Northern Meteor ex Kondari) resumes over 1200m at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, the same track he recorded his most recent victory at earlier this year.

The half-brother to Group 1 winner Hucklebuck has recorded two wins and a second placing from only three career starts, and Triple Crown Syndications Director Michael Ward believes the 4YO “should be undefeated following a luckless debut at Canterbury in February”.

Sydney Premiership winning jockey Hugh Bowman jumps on board the Snowden trained colt on Wednesday and the Triple Crown/Snowden Racing team are confident of a competitive showing, although conceding there is still improvement to come with the run.

“He’s done a fair bit of work but I’ve left room for improvement in the horse knowing what we’ve got ahead throughout the carnival” Peter Snowden reported to owners.

“On his work and his trial form he’s got to be very hard to beat”

The entire team is looking forward to seeing “The King” back at the races on Wednesday and are excited for his upcoming preparation…watch this space over the Spring Carnival!

Best of luck to all connections!
