Marty shows too much Dash at Goulburn
Invincible Dash defied top weight and a wide barrier to run out a convincing winner of the 1400m Class 1 Handicap at Goulburn on Tuesday.
The progressive three-year-old lived up to his name with a strong late burst, crossing the line a length and three quarters clear of his nearest pursuer having come widest of all round the home turn.
Invincible Dash, or Marty as he’s known around the stables, settled towards the rear of the field under Chad Lever as the leaders took them along at a genuine tempo.
Asked to improve turning for home, Invincible Dash peeled to the wide outside and let down strongly in the straight, proving a cut above his rivals and shaping as if there is plenty of improvement to come.
Congratulations to Chad, the team at Snowden Racing and all his fantastic owners!
