Triple Crown Syndications first partnered with the McGrath Foundation in 2019, raising in excess of $16,000 in our month-long charity fundraiser.
For the entirety of November, Triple Crown swapped its famous red silks to pink in order to raise money for the McGrath Foundation and increase breast cancer awareness. The grand total was helped by the $10,000 prizemoney earned by Triple Crown’s dual Group 3 winner Military Zone in the inaugural running of the $7.5 million Golden Eagle, as well as the proceeds raised from auctioning off signed memorabilia of Triple Crown’s dual Everest winner Redzel and the incomparable Winx.
McGrath Foundation raises money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed and make breast health understanding a priority. McGrath Breast Cancer Nurses help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support, from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.
The Foundation funds 135 McGrath Breast Cancer Nurses in communities right across Australia, who have supported more than 75,000 families since 2005. However, funding for 121 further McGrath Breast Cancer Nurses is needed to ensure that every family has access to the support they provide. We look forward to supporting McGrath Foundation again in the future.
