Triple Crown runner, Revolutionary Miss, will be lining up tomorrow in the $1m Magic Millions’ Fillies and Mares race over 1300m. The elite 5yo mare by Russian Revolution has been a feature runner at just about every carnival right up and down the Eastern seaboard over the last few years. She has the remarkable record of winning Group races every season as a 2yo, 3yo, 4yo and 5yo and has collected her owners over $1.8m in prizemoney along the way. That may get another significant boost is she can claim the 1300m feature on the Gold Coast.
Revolutionary Miss ran 3rd after jumping from a wide gate in last year’s Magic Millions carnival when she competed in the Magic Millions Cup over 1400m. This time around, the Ciaron Maher trained galloper has drawn beautifully in barrier 3 and has leading hoop Mark Zahra in the saddle. Jockey and horse have been a formidable combination having won two Group 2 races together along with a 2nd in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas as a 3yo.
