Snowden Racing Team-up Exclusively with Triple Crown Syndications
Snowden Racing and Triple Crown Syndications, two respected leaders in the racing industry, have today announced the formation of a new and exciting exclusive partnership. All future yearlings purchased by Triple Crown Syndications will be syndicated with and trained by Peter and Paul Snowden.
Prior to May this year Peter was the Head Trainer for Darley (now Godolphin), the Australian arm of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s racing operation, before deciding to leave and establish a new training partnership at Randwick racecourse with his son Paul. In a very short period of time Peter and Paul have taken up where they left off, with instant race track success, and have been overwhelmed by wonderful support from a range of owners.
Commenting on the new partnership with Triple Crown Syndications, Peter said: “Today is another important milestone in the establishment of our new stable. I’m thrilled that Triple Crown Syndications has expressed their confidence in what we are doing and I look forward to playing my part in continuing the success enjoyed by their loyal owners over many years.”
Triple Crown Syndications’ Director Michael Ward said: “We have long admired not only the success Peter and Paul achieved while at Darley but also the integrity and character that they inject into racing. We are two very like-minded, family-oriented businesses so I see this partnership as a very good fit. We have enjoyed great relationships with a range of trainers over the years and hold the utmost respect for the job that they do, however teaming up with the Snowden’s was simply too good an opportunity to ignore.”
Darley enjoyed unprecedented success during Peter’s time at the helm. In fact its stallion roster features many top class racehorses trained by Peter, including Denman, Sepoy, Helmet, Skilled and Epaulette. Peter has trained the winners of 29 Group 1 races and 214 Stakes races and has also previously won the Sydney Trainers’ Premiership.
Peter’s career highlights include winning the Golden Slipper, Blue Diamond (twice), Caulfield Guineas (twice), Sires Produce (twice), Champagne Stakes (3 times), Spring Champion Stakes (3 times), The Golden Rose (three times), Coolmore Stud Stakes (Ascot Vale Stakes), Vinery Stud Stakes (Storm Queen Stakes), Flight Stakes, 1000 Guineas, Queensland Oaks, South Australian Derby.
Triple Crown Syndications’ star has continued to rise to the point where they are recognised as one of Australia’s leading racehorse syndicators. They have achieved recent Group race success in their prominent red silks with the likes of Group 1 winner Peggy Jean, Hot Snitzel, Charlie Boy, Cavalry Rose, Flying Snitzel, Patronyme and Dothraki. Triple Crown’s existing horses will continue to be trained by their current appointed trainers.
