Stallion makers Peter & Paul Snowden send Revolution to stud

TRAINERS Peter and Paul Snowden are rapidly establishing a reputation as notorious stallion makers within the racing world, with the latest track star heading to stud being recent Group 1 Oakleigh Plate winner Russian Revolution.

The four-year-old son of Snitzel is heading to Newgate Farm to stand stud duties, and is the latest of a long list of horses to head to stud having been trained by Peter & Paul Snowden, including Golden Slipper winner Capitalist, Blue Diamond and Sires Produce hero Pride Of Dubai, and Caulfield Guineas winner Shooting To Win, whose first yearlings have been most impressive at auction.

These add to the multiple stars that went to stud after being under Peter’s guidance as head trainer at Darley, including this year’s gun first-season sire Epaulette, as well as Golden Slipper and Blue Diamond winner Sepoy, Denman and Helmet.

For the greatest chance of success, it’s important to align with the best – and Peter & Paul Snowden have proven to be leaders in their field when it comes to turning top performers into stallion prospects.

Triple Crown secured a fantastic son of Bel Esprit – one of the very few sires capable of throwing brilliance with Black Caviar among his progeny – from the Inglis Classic Sale, with this colt emanating from the family of Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign!

He’s bred to be fast and bred to be early and if we achieve the anticipated success, under the guidance of Peter & Paul Snowden this colt is a genuine stallion prospect!
