A magnificent bay filly by proven stallion, Pierro. We have purchased two fillies by Pierro in the past, with being Group 2 winner Reelem In Ruby and the other is Group 3 winner Pierossa. We have had great success with Pierro fillies and feel this filly will follow suit.
Chris comments “A magnificent, well balanced and athletic filly. She has elite bloodlines and serious residual value prospects.”
From the proven nursery of champions Vinery Stud at Scone, this filly is out of Snitzel mare Interram, from a family of proven stakes performers Pretty Brazen,Dollar for Dollar and Sertorius highlighting her residual broodmare potential.
Pierro, a champion two-year-old himself, and one of only a handful of horses to complete the elusive Sydney Triple Crown. has proven himself a success at stud, with over 68 individual stakes performers, led by the likes of Arcadia Queen, Pierata and Regal Power.
Triple Crown knows the progeny of Pierro well through the deeds of black type winners Pierossa and Reelem In Ruby, with that mare in particular, highlighting the residual value of these kind of fillies and mares by netting her ownership group $950,000 when sold as a broodmare prospect post racing.
This horse will be trained by Ciaron Maher. With stables at Ballarat and Warwick Farm, Maher trained runners have saluted in all of the major races. Triple Crown is very excited to be joining forces with this racing juggernaut in racing this horse and looks every chance of being back here again next year to race for the rich prizemoney on offer.
This filly is nominated for the $20.7m Magic Millions race series.

Ciaron Maher started his racing career as an apprentice jockey for the legendary C S Hayes.
When he outgrew the saddle, he made a switch to the training ranks, spending time with some of the best in the business – notably Bart Cummings, Aiden Obrien, and Willie Mullins, before kicking off with six boxes on the family dairy farm in Warrnambool.
Within two decades Maher would go on to become Australia’s leading trainer (in partnership with David Eustace), establish a state-of-the-art training centre at Ballarat, make a successful expansion into Sydney and sweep many of our major Group 1 races along the way.
Starting with 150/1 winner Tears I Cry in the Emirates Stakes at Flemington, a Caulfield Cup with Jameka, a Cox Plate with Sir Dragonet and a career-defining Melbourne Cup with Gold Trip, the Maher stable has been at the forefront of Australian Group 1 racing.
Truth be told, there are not too many feature races the Maher stable has yet to win, with the stable regularly featuring at the top of the trainer’s premierships in both Melbourne and Sydney, as well as taking out the national premiership for the first time in 2023.
Maher has also helped nurture the careers of fellow trainers Annabel Neasham, Lucy Yeomans and of course David Eustace, who has just taken up an offer to train in Hong Kong under his own banner.
With well over 550 horses in work, the Maher Racing team is a global racing juggernaut and we are excited to be joining forces with such a racing powerhouse.
