They say there is a horse for every budget and we think we have found the bargain buy of the Magic Millions sale.
A three-quarter brother to Group 1 Randwick Guineas & $1.8m winner Shadow Hero.
By proven stallion Pierro (himself a champion two-year-old and one of only a handful of horses to complete the elusive Sydney Triple Crown) and out of Not A Single Doubt mare Lady Grazier, this colt oozes quality and we felt tremendous value.
“A very athletic and lovely moving type. His breeding cross is inspired as he’s a ¾ brother to three city class horses including the $1.8m earner, SHADOW HERO. He’s exceptional value.” Chris Ward.
This horse will be trained by Ciaron Maher. With stables at Ballarat and Warwick Farm, Maher trained runners have saluted in all of the major races. Triple Crown is very excited to be joining forces with this racing juggernaut in what we believe will be a very formidable team. This exciting colt looks to have a very bright future ahead of him.
This cracking colt is nominated for the lucrative $20.7m Magic Millions race series.
The share price includes all expenses prior to 1 April 2024.

Ciaron Maher started his racing career as an apprentice jockey for the legendary C S Hayes.
When he outgrew the saddle, he made a switch to the training ranks, spending time with some of the best in the business – notably Bart Cummings, Aiden Obrien, and Willie Mullins, before kicking off with six boxes on the family dairy farm in Warnambool.
Within two decades Maher would go on to become Australia’s leading trainer (in partnership with David Eustace), establish a state-of-the-art training centre at Ballarat, make a successful expansion into Sydney and sweep many of our major Group 1 races along the way.
Starting with 150/1 winner Tears I Cry in the Emirates Stakes at Flemington, a Caulfield Cup with Jameka, a Cox Plate with Sir Dragonet and a career-defining Melbourne Cup with Gold Trip, the Maher stable has been at the forefront of Australian Group 1 racing.
Truth be told, there are not too many feature races the Maher stable has yet to win, with the stable regularly featuring at the top of the trainer’s premierships in both Melbourne and Sydney, as well as taking out the national premiership for the first time in 2023.
Maher has also helped nurture the careers of fellow trainers Annabel Neasham, Lucy Yeomans and of course David Eustace, who has just taken up an offer to train in Hong Kong under his own banner.
With well over 550 horses in work, the Maher Racing team is a global racing juggernaut and we are excited to be joining forces with such a racing powerhouse.
