Annabel Neasham

Annabel Neasham has been around horses since she was a young girl growing up in the United Kingdom.

Her passion for the thoroughbred in particular, would eventually lead her to Australia where she spent several years working for some of our leading stables, firstly with Gai Waterhouse, before a successful period working alongside Ciaron Maher in Melbourne.

During her tenure with the Maher stable, she worked alongside top-class horses like Jameka, Dubious and Away Game, before leading the expansion of the Maher stable into Sydney.

Annabel ventured out on her own in 2020 with 36 boxes at Warwick Farm, enjoying immediate Group 1 success with Mounga, who won the 2021 Rosehill Guineas.

This was quickly followed by further Group 1 success with import Zaaki including the 2021 Doomben Cup, before wins in the Underwood and Mackinnon capped off a memorable Melbourne Spring Carnival, in the same year.

Her meteoric rise through the Sydney training ranks continued, with further Group 1 success for Zaaki, Top Ranked dead heating in a thrilling Epsom Handicap, before classy three-year-old filly Sunshine In Paris, saluted in the Surround Stakes earlier this year.

Annabel is a trusted and valued member of the Triple Crown team and currently looks after ten Triple Crown horses, including our recent international purchase, Hiawatha.

With satellite stables in both Brisbane and Melbourne, our horses are able to be placed where they have the best chance of winning.
