Triple Crown secure two outstanding prospects during Inglis Classic Sale opener
Triple Crown were in action during today’s opening session of the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, securing two stunning individuals with tremendous upside.
Our first purchase came in the shape of Lot 52, an outstanding colt by champion racehorse Maurice out of the Group 2-placed mare Chatelaine.
This stunning individual is sired by a HORSE OF THE YEAR and is a half-brother to Champion 2YO Filly HEADWAY.
Headway was runner up in the time honoured Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes as a juvenile, before going on to win the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes as a three-year-old. She was all about speed and this colt looks to have inherited those genes!
Bred to be a champion and boasting a physical to match, this colt is to be trained by Peter & Paul Snowden, the team responsible for an endless list of outstanding racehorses including REDZEL, CAPITALIST, PRIDE OF DUBAI and RUSSIAN REVOLUTION.
“We immediately fell in love with this colt. He is a stunning colt – an absolute weapon.” – Triple Crown’s Chris Ward.
We are seriously excited by what the future holds for this colt, and the video below gives you an insight into how his sire Maurice came to be known as the beast from the east!
If all the above wasn’t enough, the breeders of this colt liked him so much that they have retained a 25% share in him!!
You can hear from them yourself by watching the video below.
Our shopping spree didn’t end there, and we are delighted to get our hands on Lot 190, a stunning daughter of exciting sire Pride Of Dubai.
This filly is a half-sister to two stakes horses and is a direct descendant of Champion Filly and blue hen mare Stage Hit!
She will also head into training with Peter & Paul Snowden, the team responsible for an endless list of outstanding racehorses including REDZEL, CAPITALIST, RUSSIAN REVOLUTION and of course PRIDE OF DUBAI himself!
Pride Of Dubai has made an excellent start to life at stud and currently sits atop of the leading first season sires table. He was trained by Peter & Paul Snowden to win two Group 1s as a two-year-old, so it’s no surprise that his first crop of juveniles already includes a stakes winner in TANKER.
“A magnificent moving filly. She’s a genuine athlete and being a half-sister to two stakes performers, she will have good residual value too.”– Michael Ward.
Triple Crown is Australia’s leading syndicator of racehorses and shares will be available in our purchases from the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in roughly three days’ time. You will be notified as soon as shares are available.
Excluding unraced two-year-olds, an incredible 27% of the horses currently on our books are stakes performed, so there’s never been a better time to join the two-time Everest-winning team of Triple Crown Syndications and Snowden Racing.
