Triple Crown’s Testanova Scores Sixth Win

Ultra consistent mare Testanova (Testa Rossa ex On Cosmos) scored her sixth career win for Triple Crown at Wagga today, taking out the Sportsmen’s Hotel Benchmark 70 Handicap comfortably by 1.5 lengths.

Toying with her rivals, Testanova made easy work of leading from the outside barrier and ran the entire 1000m trip on her own terms.

Jockey Koby Jennings commented that she felt terrific, travelled nicely and really let down well in the straight to defeat the short priced favourite Silk Pins (NZ).

The five year old mare, purchased by Chris and Michael Ward for $60,000 from the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale, has now accumulated over $80,000 in prizemoney for her owners and boasts a 24% run to win strike rate.

Undefeated at this track and distance Testanova has certainly made her mark since being transferred to the Nick Olive stable, and her owners are enjoying the rewards of her effort, experiencing wins or placing’s in 9 of her 12 starts for the Premiership winning trainer.

The Triple Crown team is thrilled with the continued success of this mare, and is looking forward to enjoying many more days in the winner’s circle with her.

Congratulations to all connections!
