Vale Exoboom

The Triple Crown team are devastated to report the tragic passing of our beloved EXOBOOM.

He was a hugely talented racehorse, but above all he was an absolute pleasure to be around – A real stable favourite and a gentle giant in every sense.

The big lad leaves us with some amazing memories, including his superb victory in last year’s Group 3 Hawkesbury Guineas. His first two career wins, where he demolished his rivals by 6.8L and 5.3L respectively, will also live long in the memory.

Having not missed a place in his first eight starts, winning three and finishing runner-up in four, Exoboom went on to secure himself a spot in the $7.5 million Golden Eagle by producing a scintillating come from behind victory in the Filante Handicap at Royal Randwick.

As well as running in the Golden Eagle, Exoboom gave his adoring owners a huge thrill in feature races such as The Gong, The Villiers Stakes and The Star Kingdom Stakes during his impressive career.

And what a group of owners he had! They always turned out in huge numbers and could be seen (and heard!) wherever Exoboom went.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in the Exoboom story and everyone who looked after him so well during his time with us.

A special mention goes to his regular strapper Stevie and his trackwork rider Elizabeth. You would be hard pressed to find someone who adored Exoboom as much as Stevie and Elizabeth.

Exoboom was a beautiful big horse and had a special bond with his strapper Stevie – Bradley Photos

Our thoughts are with all his owners and all the team at Snowden Racing during this extremely difficult time.

RIP big fella. You will be sorely missed.
