In what was a fruitful couple of days for the Triple Crown and Annabel Neasham team, another winner presented in the form of Diablo Bolt on Guineas day at the Sunshine Coast. The consistent galloper recorded his fourth win from just twelve career starts and is building a very nice record.
Jag Guthmann-Chester was tasked with guiding the 3yo son of Hellbent over the 1800m race. It was a slightly tricky barrier but Jag managed to find a lovely spot mid-field and had the gelding nice and relaxed. He was present with clear running down the outside in the straight before bolting clear inside the final 150m to score a comprehensive win by nearly 2 1/4 lengths.

‘No doubt that was his best win to date. He just relishes that 1800m-2200m range, and a wet track doesn’t concern him either. There looks to be a lovely race for him at Doomben on Saturday week over 2000m so we will likely head there next’.
