Talented sprinter Zouprince continued his consistent form with a gutsy win at Scone (transferred provincial meeting) on Thursday, claiming victory in a nail-biting finish over 1100m. Under the guidance of apprentice jockey Molly Fitzgerald, the Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald-trained galloper engaged in a thrilling battle down the straight to secure his third career win.
The victory adds to what is becoming an impressive record for the promising galloper, who has now placed in the top three in nine of his 16 career starts. This consistency has helped Zouprince amass over $130,000 in prizemoney so far for his connections.
“This was a particularly satisfying win given the fight he showed in the straight,” said Triple Crown’s Co-Director, Sam Manion. “He’s really developing into a reliable performer and continues to reward the faith of his owners.”
