Another big performance by Zouprince brought up his second win over 1200m and it was an impressive display. Following on from Zoubeauty’s win last week, the win of Zouprince made it a quick-fire winning double for the Triple Crown, Gerry Harvey & John Williams winning team. Both horses have a different group of wonderful owners in each horse, whilst Gerry and John are owners in both talented runners.
The speedy Zouprince possesses good natural ability and it was on full show again at Newcastle with rising jockey, Mollie Fitzgerald again getting the job done for the team. The application of blinkers by trainers Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald was a masterstroke and the once he kicked early the straight, the win never looked in doubt.
